I am a Washington resident and I am stuck between the two choices.
I am admitted to CoB at UIUC without scholarship. I really want to pursue accounting as my major and I am aware that UIUC has the second best program in accounting. However, since I am OOS, I have to pay more tuition. I am wondering about job prospect after receiving a degree in accounting at UIUC.
I am also admitted to UW-Seattle, but didnt get into Foster as a Direct admit.
I am wondering how competitive it is to get into Foster later and would a degree in Business administration hurt me if i want to pursue accounting? (Foster only provides Bachelor of Arts in Business administration) Also how is the accounting program at UW? I am aware Foster provides options, but I dont know how well it prepares people for the CPA and the job prospect.
