Correct. I remember with my oldest, it was up by 3:45 because he wasn’t home from school yet and I had inadvertently checked and saw that he was accepted into his program. Oops! lol I hadn’t expected to see it up early. It also tends to “jam” due to everyone checking at the same time. His year was a one decision date in February like this as well, all EA and RD.
So do you mean that people who are getting stuck on the AcceptDecline WITHOUT the Not Eligible screen is not a hack and no indication whatsoever of a potential acceptance? and ofcourse vice versa those who ARE getting the Not eligible screen is not any indication of a potential rejection.
Most likely, but of course, this year anything can happen. It can also be related to EA vs RD applicants, or them uploading information into their system.
Guys, any other international students there because I just realized that I forgot to give my English proficiency score thing… Will this be a problem because I thought it would get waived for sure for me because all my years of study have been in English teaching schools. CRAPPP
Right, because every year I hear horror stories of kids with really good stats getting deferred or denied for having like one C on their transcript. But this year, there’s no deferrals and I feel like so much is unknown. Well I guess we’ll all know in a few hours!
I think the whole “hack” thing is blown out of proportion, we will all truly know at 4pm… anyway has anyone gotten the actual admitted students checklist? I know must of us like to be pessimistic and think we got denied but if everyone got the “NotEligible” screen then this is not accurate indication of a decision. Good Luck guys
that’s correct but there are a few who DO GET directed to the ACCEPDECLINE when they try the Checklist and DO NOT have the Not Eligible screen. So its not that everyone is getting the Not Eligible screen.
That may not indicate anything. Given an acceptance rate at 59%, there should be a lot more people seeing the accept/decline link, but not the other way around.
We’re Sorry. Our records indicate you are not eligible to log in to the Admitted Student Checklist. If you have questions, contact Undergraduate Admissions at 217.333.0302 or admissions@illinois.edu.
This was on my portal. Does this mean I’m rejected?
This is not correct. There were people earlier who said they were being redirected to an “AcceptDecline” page but that the page wouldn’t load. Nobody here has said they are getting the checklist. This has happened after (not instead of) the not eligible screen. Everybody has the “not eligible” screen (which is the site blocking access to the checklist, independent of decision) but per messages earlier not everyone got the “AcceptDecline” redirect.
My guess at this point is it isn’t an indicator of anything at all. Make sure not to misrepresent any flukes we can see
