UIUC Electrical Engineering vs UCLA Electrical Engineering

<p>I'm International student admitted to UCLA and UIUC (besides Purdue, UCSD, UCD, etc.). Waited listed at GaTech.</p>

<p>I'm to choose between UCLA EE and UIUC EE. Costs for both are almost same. From ranking point of view, UIUC is ranked much higher than UCLA. But, from International reputation, climate, job prospects, I believe UCLA is better placed. Since I can't visit either of them now, my info sources are CC majorly and college websites.</p>

<p>Inputs? Suggestions?</p>

<p>They both are top programs. I am not familiar with the ECE facilitites at UCLA, but ECE students at UIUC will begin classes in Fall 2014 in a modern, new ECE building .</p>
