Hey guys, I'm a lurker-turned-new-member and I've got a question that's been bugging me for a while (and it's only barely believable no one asked this yet). University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Engineering - how does that fare in applying to top top grad schools (business/law)?

Here's my understanding: it's no Ivy League, but it won't be a large hindrance if stats are in order (GPA and LSAT/GMAT). True or false?

crossing my fingers and hoping we’re allowed to bump

also realizing my understanding applies to most schools /facepalm

Engineering at Illinois might hurt for law, but only because it tends to be less grade inflated than other subjects.

If your GPA and LSAT score are up to par, then it does not matter.
