uiuc job placement outside of chicago/midwest?

<p>uiuc is a highly regarded school for engineering and business (especially accounting for business). </p>

<p>For business, how is uiuc's recruiting and job placement outside of the midwest? i know its not nears as strong as IN the midwest, but thats why I'm asking. Would i have a good shot at a job in california if i got my business degree (accounting/finance) from uiuc? (and did well in school)</p>

<p>I would view this document and then call UIUC career services with specific questions. Ask them to give you the recent placements in CA. CC is the last place that I would rely on for truly objective placement information. Most information provided on CC is anecdotal and based upon 1 or 2 pieces of incomplete information.</p>

<p>The reality is that of course you can get a job in CA, but it might take a little more work on your side.</p>
