UIUC, Purdue, or Penn State Undergrad Engineering

I was accepted into Purdue and Penn State for Engineering. I was accepted to UIUC for Chemical/Biomolecular Engineering. I will probably end up studying chemical engineering :D. I am currently having trouble picking one specific school that I want to go to. Money for the three are in a range that wouldn't be much of an issue for me when picking. I can't pick because all three schools seem so nice.

I already visited Penn State and I loved it. I am going to visit the other two in April.

I really like a school where there are options (both social and academic). Also, job opportunities are also important. Can anyone help me by convincing me of why one of these schools would be a better fit for me?

Thanks in advance!

Engineering rankings don’t really matter that much. What matters more is where you want to work. If you want to work in the NE, Penn State is better. If you want to work in the Midwest, UIUC or Purdue is better.

^^^^^wrong

If you want to work in the NE in engineering, Illinois would be better than Penn State

I doubt that unless maybe it is computer engineering. PSU has a top eng rep in the NE. Also alums everywhere which helps.

well…that totally put UIUC and Penn State ahead of purdue for me. i really do wanna work in the NE :D…still its hard to choose between the two…
