Got all my offers and my major is CS
So I am gonna make choics now

here is the FA each school can offer to me one year.

UIUC 12k (CS in ENG)
Purdue 30k
RPI 42k
Stony (cheapest)

I know UIUC has good CS program. But it is the most expensive one. I dont know if it is worthy. Purdue's CS is not in engineering school. it is in LAS. So i dont know if it makes any difference.
Stony is a near-home school. Because I m NY resident. It is going to be the cheapest school for me.
I dont know if i m gonna go to grad school. So please give me some advices. THX!

UIUC is only 12k. I think its well worth the 12k. Take loans and pay it.

If you really don’t want to take any loans, then goto Stony Brook as it is also one of the respected SUNY after Binghamton.

12k is only the FA that uiuc gives to me. so as a out-state student, I still have to pay like 35k.

The amounts I listed above are not the final fee. They are the FA that each school gives to me. So now UIUC is the most expensive one because its FA is least.

What is the point of posting the FA package ?

Post the cost of attendance after you subtract grants and scholarships. Here’s how I will rank them:

UIUC

RPI

Stony Brook

Purdue

UIUC is worth the extra cost
