uk and usa visa help needed!

<p>i live in India and i applied to University of Michigan and was accepted. i applied for a student visa, but i was rejected TWICE for not having ties with my home country. I had also applied to the UK and was accepted by kings college London.</p>

<p>Since i was not able to obtain a USA student visa, i decided to go to the UK and was looking through the visa forms where i came upon a question "has your visa ever been rejected from any other country?" </p>

<p>i would like to know whether my rejection for the USA student visa would significantly affect my chance of obtaining a UK student visa?</p>

<p>My suggestion: tell them you have been rejected by US embassy. </p>

<p>Then make a note: I was rejected because blablabla, list all reasons you could think of. Let them understand that it wasn’t all your fault. </p>

<p>If you tell the truth and have very sound reasons to explain why you haven’t got US visa, I think you will be just fine.</p>
