Hello, I am a student studying in the UK at a top 10 uni Lancaster University , studying Economics and Politics with a minor in Linguistics , I want to study medicine in the states ( pre med) my GPA is 4.00 , i have a lot of extracurricular activities ( too lazy to post lol ) , my plan is to transfer to a us uni and switch my major to biological sciences , do you think i stand a chance , my problem is my school grades weren’t that great , and I did a foundation
What year are you in right now at Lancaster?
Also, I’m sure you have considered this but if you just want to change your major/course, you can apply through UCAS to either a new uni or the same one but in biology (provided you had bio at A level). If you have just done a foundation year then you’ll still have 3 years of funding left.
