UK Undergrad Finance: LSE v Warwick v Manchester v King's College London

I am interested in your advice for choosing between the following universities for a potential career in investment banking/asset management (i know it’s only undergrad). Courses are the following:

LSE, WarwickBS, Alliance ManchesterBS - Accounting and finance
KCL - Maths with finance/business

Thanks!

Definitely LSE or Warwick.
Are your ‘conditions’ achievable?

IB 666 for total of 38 (yes, they are achievable)

does warwick have international reputation? from QS Acc. finance rankings, Manchester is ranked 19 whereas WBS is ~30.

The QS rankings are pretty much worthless.

In the UK, LSE and Warwick are equal followed by KCL.

Internationally, LSE has the reputational edge over Warwick.

For the City, Warwick is huge. So it depends whether 1° you’re highly quantitative nd 2° you want to work in London or in the US. Not sure about SIngapore.

Don’t forget the undergrad factor: Warwick >> LSE for undergrad experience (not to mention cost of living).

Warwick will put you in the race (with Oxbridge and LSE) for (paid) internships during breaks and summer, which will be huge for getting jobs after graduation.

Warwick has a real campus. LSE is a city uni and has a ton of grad students. Some people like or don’t mind that, though.

You will find graduates of all those universities at the top firms. The most important thing is to do well in your studies with a high 2:1 as a minimum, ideally a first, along with some relevant internships and solid references to get an interview.
