What is the best stuff to see on campus or surrounding to get the real feel of life at UMich? Probably have half a day or so free. Can you walk to the best places in Ann Arbor from campus? Thx. in advance.

P.S.Already have the campus day tour (housing and campus) booked. Looking for the intangibles that make the university what it is.

stop by zingerman’s deli (422 Detroit St., Ann Arbor) and try a sandwich or the mac and cheese. so so good

Take a look at the football stadium…take a walk down South University, State Street, and Main Street. Zingerman’s is great. There isn’t much incredible stuff to see in Ann Arbor that you won’t see on the campus tour.

take a look at the north campus and new bschool

going out there tomorrow. Only thing better would be if football was in season. definitely stopping by new bschool and zingerman’s.

Bummer you aren’t coming a few days later, on Saturday is the spring football game. Probably 30,000 people or so will show up for that. I’m driving 400 miles from Illinois to head to Ann Arbor for the long weekend and hit the stadium on Saturday. Me and my buddies will be out tailgating at 5:30 am.

Eat at Blimpy Burger on S. Division. Walk around South U., North U., State, Main (if you are able to walk after eating at Blimpy).

blimpy burger is a must…get ready to get treated like **** tho

Yes, practice ordering in the mirror before you go lest you look like a fool.
