UM vs RPI vs GT vs JHU Engineering

Money is not a concern, location is not a concern. I only care about academia, facilities, learning environment, job availability and the "kind of people" who attend these universities for engineering (by kind of people, I mean intelligent, well rounded, competitive etc). I'm looking into Electrical engineering and possibly Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Which one of these universities (Johns Hopkins, University of Michigan, Georgia Tech or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) do you think is best suited in these categories.

Right now I'm tending toward UM only because I feel it attracts well rounded people, and has an excellent engineering school as well as business school which offers dual programs. (as a perk I've also heard its gorgeous and offers a real college experience...but I still really care about academia and a future job)

Michigan=GA Tech > JHU> RPI

All four schools are excellent choices.

For what you are looking for, Michigan s your best fit.
