Hi guys! I’m currently a student at UD and was wondering what my chances are of getting into their program? I have an interview set up and the advisors in the nursing department seem interested, my GPA and course grades are above the minimum requirement so hopefully I’m good there. And also out of curiosity, is UD school of nursing better than Umass Amherst? Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
What year are you at UD?
From my knowledge, nursing is one of the only programs at Umass Amherst that you can not transfer into. You must go in as a freshman.

I’d have some backup plans. There are some private colleges with nursing programs that accept transfers. There also is Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia which specializes in providing nursing degrees to students who enter in the 3rd year of college.
