Hey everyone! Okay, so with my decision a mere three weeks away, I am faced with quite the decision: as the title suggests, I am choosing between UMass' Honors Program, Boston College, or UConn. Some basics: I live an hour outside of Boston and I plan on majoring in management/sports management. I could attend UMass for virtually no cost, UConn with a small loan, and BC with a $5500 yearly loan and I would need a work-study job. Oh, and I am going for my undergraduate degree.

Now, based on my research, UMass' Isenberg SOM (more specifically sports management) is one of the nation's top programs for said degree. However, their national ranking is just inside the top 100 and their SOM on the whole is not necessarily "elite." That said, I think the honors aspect would increase my degree's credibility. To reiterate, if I attend UMass Amherst, I would major in Sports Management.

I have also gotten into Boston College. Their Carroll SOM is nationally recognized as being stellar, and their university ranking is highly regarded. I feel as though BC would allow me to create a stronger network, especially with the Alumni, and may open more doors for me. BC doesn't offer sports management, so I would major in management. However, is this important if I plan to go on and get an MBA in grad school? Is the $20,000+ debt after my undergrad worth it, knowing I'll most likely attempt to attend an equally expensive, private grad school, this time with significantly less money from my parents?

Lastly, I have gotten into UConn Storrs sports management program. I would have a debt of roughly $12,000 upon graduation. One intriguing thing about UConn is there proximity to ESPN and my consequent connection, considering my major.

It is worth telling you all that I have visited each campus and can honestly say I see myself at each of the schools. I have no strong preference of one over the other based on the campuses and my visits. I guess what I am asking you all is how much is BC's prestige worth? With time running out, I'm looking for advice from all people. What choice do you think I should make?! But yes, I am aware that at the end of the day it is my choice and not someone else's!
