UMBC vs Towson

<p>Just wanted to hear other peoples pros and cons for each university.</p>

<p>From what I've read online, UMBC's biggest problem is the lack of social life.</p>

<p>Towsons biggest problem (my opinion), is their uneven guy/girl ratio. (more girls)</p>

<p>UMBC appears to be a bit more academically focused whereas Towson is a bit more well rounded. Towson is a perfect match for me (grades wise), and UMBC is a little bit of a reach.</p>

<p>But in terms of social life,dorms, and academics (i want to go to into communications) which is better?</p>

<p>Have you visited the colleges yet, if possible? Those should be able to give you a good idea of the social life and maybe dorms.</p>
