UMCP or Drexel

Hey guys I'm having a tough time making my college decision and I was hoping that I could get some help on here. I was accepted into College Park Scholars and Drexel, among other colleges. I have narrowed it down to these two since I still haven't even received my FA package from UVA-_-. I will be majoring in engineering, UMD obviously has a better engineering program which I really liked and actually I wasn't even really considering Drexel until a few days ago when I went to visit it and liked what I was shown. The buildings seemed pretty new and everyone was very friendly. I was wondering if the Drexel Co-Op is really all that it is hyped up to be? How much easier does it make finding employment opportunities after college? Would it be worth it to go to Drexel for the co-op as opposed to UMD for their great engineering? Drexel would also be about 6k more than CP, would it be worth it to take on that additional debt?

Any input would be appreciated!

As an engineering person, I would certainly think that UMD would be your better choice. Assuming you do well, UMD is a great conduit for internships, etc. while you are in school. I don’t know much about Drexel’s co-op, but there are several programs at UMD that can personalize the experience more for you. Obviously, you’ve got a lot going for you already since you were accepted into Clark.

Drexel engineering doesn’t even compare to UMD plus you got into scholars and it ends up being cheaper.
