UMD Transfer 2016 Fall

Juz got the link, and I’m an international and out of states student!!!
So exited.

UMD Admission just replied to a tweet asking how much longer transfer decisions will be with “Soon! We’re almost there!”

I hope it’s today!

Me too. Does anyone know how much on-campus housing is per semester?

on housing is like 6k and dining plan is 4k i think, I read it on here. https://www.admissions.umd.edu/costs/

http://reslife.umd.edu/housing/housingfees/ this gives a better idea of what it costs

Alright… Is tuition for in state around 10k per semester or per year?

per year I’m sure

^this information is published directly on their website…

Our decisions come out in an hour…hopefully…maybe…probbaly not

International Transfer

  1. Major - Aerospace Engineering
  2. GPA - 3.41 (Major related GPA - 3.8)
  3. Transferring a sophomore
  4. TOEFL - 101
  5. SAT - 1790
  6. ACT - 27
  7. Two glorious recommendation from college professor

GOT THE HOUSING LINK !!

Do we think they’ll come out today? Guess no point in asking, we’ll know in 40ish minutes

We’ll see…

Anything can happen in the next 30 minutes.

Is anyone else applying out of state? Do they favor in state over OOS?

They do favor in state vs OOS. It’s because they are required to admit a certain number of in state transfer students.

The admissions rep I talked to said in state vs oos didn’t make a difference…

Hope the decision comes out in 30mins, so I don’t have to worry about this anymore.

Good luck to all of us - the people who care T____T

Ahh yeah I always hear different things about OOS vs IS. Oh well, I guess we’ll wait and see! If anyone wants to chance me I would appreciate it! (also so that future applicants can have something to refer to)
