<p>I really want to go to UM and will be applying for transfer admissions in either the spring or fall of 2013. So I am very interested in knowing if the 15% transfer rate increase will remain the same for the next couple of years or if this is a fluke?</p>
<p>Ok so I reviewed the common data set and it looks like they always admit around 1500-1600 transfer applicants and on average have about a 40% transfer rate. this years high transfer acceptance rate was due to 1600 fewer transfer applicants from last year. Of course I am at their average transfer gpa with exceptional ECs and probably will have an amazing essay as I am a good writer and also I have an amazing hook. Also according to the transfer advisor the average gpa is not going anywhere i.e. it is gonna stay at a 3.4+ for a long time to come. I am at this point just using this thread to vent but hey if you have any input or you need to vent also do it here. :)</p>
