Strong essays and good ECs, I worked full time/part time job throughout. Recommendation from professor and supervisors at work definitely helped. Additionally, I am in state which makes big difference. My stats are on the lower end, I also got 1 C in high lvl engineering class. Also, I had 60+ credits when transferring, idk if that matters or not.
Makes sense that you got in! Thank you and congratulations again.
Just check those who get in. It’s very clear umich stat reviewing from highest credits to lowest.
I think it is more based on who had completed checklists the soonest.
When did you apply/finish your checklist if you don’t mind me asking? Also congratulations!
I never received such email, and I applied earlier than you. This worries me, but may be good news for you!
Everything got finished Late Jan (1/30ish)
It’s assuring to hear people receiving acceptances this week and last.
I’m overwhelmed after completing my checklist on 01/28 and refreshing the portal so much to see if anything has changed :’)
You will always get an email, so don’t stress it. Good luck!
Did you apply umich before?
Mine was finished around Feb 3rd. Hoping to hear news in the next few weeks. Thanks!
3rd time.
I applied to CS ENG. International student. Transcripts delievered yesterday. Waiting for results.
Never! I’m probably one of the few nontraditional people on here. Have about 60 credits from a previous university and an additional 20 or so from community college.
I’ve been itching to get back into a full-time program and am hoping to hear something soon! The stories of students in similar positions on here are giving me some hope, but it’s been three weeks since applying so…
it’s only been 3 weeks, no need to worry, it can take 2 mow months to receive an decision
I also applied to CS eng. If Umich is anything like UIUC then decisions for CS eng will likely take longer since it is more competitive unfortunately.
I applied to CoE Mechanical Engineering. Novice question, but do you think admissions are based on the competitiveness of each degree program or are they based on the total amount of space left in the school?
I received this as well, but do not believe it is any indicator
I am transferring from UIUC lol
yay fellow UIUC student here
