LOL! That’s too funny. I was hoping that Robert Schiller (Michigan alum) would win the Nobel Prize in Econ last year (he was the heavy favourite), but this will have to do. So now we have alums that have alums who have sat in the White House, won the Nobel Prize and Fields Medal, sold more records than any performer in history, made billions of dollars, won the Super Bowl MVP award, lent their voice to the most famous masked character of all times, led Fortune 500 companies and now won the Miss America pageant. What next?!

Alexandre - there is nothing wrong in winning the Miss America title. You seem embarrassed about it. From what I understand, she is looking to go to med school and is an accomplished young lady. Academics is not the only measure of success.

I am not at all embarrassed. I was embarrassed by the way we played Akron on Saturday. This is not embarrassing.

It’s the craziest thing. She lived in the same town as me (the 4,000-ish population town of Fayetteville, NY) and also went to UMich as well. I feel like this is a sign I should enter some more beauty pageants. Who knows what might happen!

Alexandre-I’m surprised your nemesis Golden Boy hasn’t come in here and emptied his garbage. Anyways, congrats to your school for this accomplishment, and I am proud since I am an Indian who has lived 45/46 years of my life in this country (born in India).

For what it’s worth, Erika Harold, former Miss America 2003 went to Harvard Law School.

He has been banned from the Michigan boards. :-)
