UMich Pre-Med resources??

Hello! I'm attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor this fall and after hours of research, advice from professors, advisors, and professionals I still feel this uneasy feeling that I'm missing something for a great start to a 4yr pre-med career (:

I went to a whole bunch of orientation programs at Umich and enrolled in significant programs and I'd just like some fresh eyes to help see what I can't see. Granted I don't have an established GPA or a MCAT to reference, I just want clarification and critique of my plan.

Also pertaining to the title, I was wondering what additional resources Umich offers? I was hoping this would be a different thread than most annoying pre-med posts....

B.S in Neuroscience
Proficiency in Spanish Language (I plan to summer study abroad) I have a backgroud
BtW I'm African-American Male and not a native speaker
UM Rehabilitation Clinical Volunteer for cognitively impaired patients
Undergraduate Research All 4 years (I have been accepted already for UROP)
I have other extra-currics but they're mostly religioius and sport-like in nature

I know all the pre-reqs and I tested out of inorganic chemistry so I'm jumping into organic chem freshman winter semester

Anything else guys?? thanks, I've read of some great responses on CC and I hope I get a few as well!

Newnan Advising has pre-health advisers for the academic end of things (I would recommend David Brawn or Peggy Zitek, as they are more experienced), and the Career Center can talk more about activities, but there’s certainly overlap and they’re both helpful, imo.

There’s not a path to follow or anything… for example, even though 93% of 2010 matriculants volunteered or worked in healthcare, that’s still 7% who didn’t. (Source: www.aamc.org/data/msq/)
