hey, ive already been accepted back in november or w/e into LSA
im considering applying for honors even though they didnt recommend me and i havnt handed in the deposit yet
however thats not the point
i understand my senior year has to be strong
im taking 6 AP classes this year ( a whole new level than last years, in which i did all honors/accelerated classes... prerequisite for the AP classes) so... im not used to the huge coarseload and as a result im slipping jus slightly..
first quarter was alright.. i got a 96 unweighted gpa
however my second quarter is slightly lower... and im afraid they might look upon this as slackin or sumthin (however im not.. im trying my hardest)
so heres the breakdown- my estimated avgs
AP Chem: 98-100
AP US Government: 88-92
AP Calculus BC: 80-85
AP English Lit n Comp- 88-93
AP Statistics- 88-92
College Spanish- 98-100
Orchestra- 95-97 (yea lame... he never gives out 100's even though im first chair)
Public Speaking- 93-96 (teacher is lame... my speeches can be perfect and she can only give it like a 96 at most.. she expects us all to have well prepared speeches like obama or sumthin.. its pretty ridiculous)

hypothetically speaking if my grades were on the lower end of each spectrum, is that too low that they would revoke my admission?

how low do grades go before they will revoke (guess or estimate)

any feedback is helpful, thanks

also to add:

my grades in past years have always maintained a steady 95-96 gpa unweighted

I dont think you really have anything to worry about. Those grades are still really high. Also its a monster state school, the gpa you are getting now is still torward the higher end of their average , with six aps just continue to work hard

they rescind if your final transcript has 3 C's, 1 D, or 1 F

all your grades are good so you're fine

When you say 3 C's, that means just senior year right? Not prior years?

I would expect 17 and 18 year old students to be a little bit more rational. Rescinding an acceptance is no laughing matter. A university will not rescind an offer simply because a student's GPA drops to a 3.3 or a 3.5. To get rescinded, a senior must basically get a bunch of Cs and Ds and perhaps even fail a class or two. Unless one's senior GPA dips below 2.5, do not worry about being rescinded.

Of course, if a 3.7+ student may be asked to explain Cs in major subjects such as Math or English. And if such a student's senior GPA drops to a sub 3.0 GPA, a university may even place that student on probabtion for the first semester. But in order to rescind an offer, a student must BOMB senior year.

And collide, Cs that you got in prior years have already been accounted for. Obviously, sctcobra was referring to senior year.

whew....... i was really worried...
cause with track and field and all, i go to bed very late EVERY night b/c im finishing up hw
and my calc grade has dipped into the 80's as well as english n gov(my grade is in 80s for gov b/c my fkkin partner fudged our group grade b/c he didnt even HAND HIS IN)
and im not used to 80's.... never below 90.. so i was jus worried, thx for the input guys
