Hi, everyone.
I was just recently admitted to Umich as an international transfer student. I’m still waiting for the decision of Vandy and Emory. I’m interested in social science, such as soci and psyc. However, I don’t know if I will transfer my major to CS or DS (which I don’t prefer) in order to make sure I can get a green card because I’m an LGBT (I know it sounds a little ridiculous.) Anyway, I genuinely wish somebody can give me some suggestions. If Umich is better than the others, or it’s almost impossible for me to be admitted to Vanderbilt or Emory as an international transfer student, I will accept the offer right now so that I can apply for visa ASAP because Omicron is breaking out in Shanghai again now.
(I like a diverse and liberal vibe where I can step out of my comfort zone and have access to US culture instead of staying in the bubble of CSSA, if it matters)
