umich vs washu (sources)

can someone help me please? i will major in BME and try and fufill pre-med prerequisites. Is there any sort of comparison between the two? is one better than the other? if so can someoen link me to information to help me? I love the sports and social sceen at mich and im not sure about washu so. i'm looking at these academic factors. I feel like I can succeed at both schools and rigor i feel is not an issue. I just wish to figure out which has better name recognition (source please) and which is better for BME. thanks

bump…

Both schools are highly regarded. Overall, Michigan is probably a little more well recognized than Wash U. On the other hand, when it comes to Medicine, Wash U. is probably a little more recognized than Michigan.

In terms of BME, Michigan is ranked slighthly higher than WUSTL (#7 vs #16)according to the latest undergraduate USNews rankings:

1 Johns Hopkins University
2 Duke University
3 Georgia Institute of Technology
4 University of California–San Diego

7 University of Pennsylvania
9 Boston University

mediabob. I have read your thoughtful posts here and in the WUSTL room. From what I’ve seen, you should definitely go to Michigan. It really is the all-around college experience you are looking for.
