Have any EA CS Engineering applicants received their decisions? Feeling kind of anxious. Also does how long the grades have been in UM’s hands factor into when you get your decision? Mine 7th semester transcripts have been there for about 8ish days now.

@firstwavemom Just to be clear, I was just having fun. UVA is a great school. I actually was hoping my dauther would go to either UM or UVA! Can’t go wrong either way.

When will Umich release deferred decisions for Engineering applicants?? (the wolverine access portal has a new look tho)

@seacoast I am waiting decisions from super selective schools with really good financial aid, and good schools with not-that-affordable financial aid package, Michigan is between those types of schools, really want to get in, it is my first choice!(if I can afford it…)
@Zpower99, not to burst your bubble, but Michigan aid if OOS does not come close to Private schools known for aid. In our case the difference was over 30k a year.
@BigPapiofthree yeah I agree that’s why I said “Michigan is between those types of schools”, Michigan offer more aids than other OOS public state schools, but less than top private schools
I wouldn’t look for much given what I have seen parents post on CC. Michigan is expensive…I hope my future job pays off cause I really really wanna go there!
but umich in state tuition is a great value!!
It’s an awesome deal…not sure I would go anywhere else if I lived in MI…alas I don’t…gonna pay…if they let me in…so very hopeful that I hear soon! :!! (
