Is it a good sign that at 3pm tomorrow, it’ll be basically the same temperature in Ann Arbor as my town in Massachusetts?

Okay… so I’m not the only one who keeps track of the weather in all the cities my colleges are… LOL
@awo1999 I’m in the same boat as you. Once I’m deferred, I’m gonna write a letter of EXTREME interest (nothing creepy lol) to my regional counselor. I might even get another letter of recommendation, if anyone thinks that’ll help. Also, I’ll obviously have my guidance counselor send in my first semester grades asap.
@enginero From what I have read, it seems like, once deferred, that U of MI admissions turn into something akin to rolling admissions. So deferred students could hear back pretty quickly.
Twitter post by UMich admission “it is very unlikely any decision will be released before next week”

5 minutes ago, our college counseling department sent out an announcement to seniors: U of M will not release decisions tomorrow. They even canceled some holiday party because they are so behind. U of M admissions officers have told schools that it will be next week. So don’t get your hopes up probably more waiting
So if you get deferred (and I’m 99% positive I will get deferred) how do they decide how to release the batches of decisions? Will they release all of the acceptances first or will there be acceptances in each wave? I’m confused as to how/when they release deferral decisions.
@amarz12 What is your source regarding the cancelled holiday party?
@uofm83 I realized that my papa, who passed away 7 years ago was the relative. I was confused at first and thought i should have received an email.
Wait @amarz12 Whats your source??
@jt1216 : No Result Tomorrow
Twitter feed…
“Almost there! Early Action applicants will receive a decision by the end of next week.”
Late next week (confirmed with a call to admissions)
Ughhh well they better release positive decisions for all of us if it’s gonna be so late and right before Christmas Eve!
Even though I really wanted them to come out tomorrow, I’m kinda happy it will allow the ED students to withdraw their applications
ED? Umich doesnt have ED only EA!! @kl1211
@lolonimous they mean that students who have been accepted to their ED choice school (not umich) will be able to withdraw their Michigan app as they’re required to do if accepted ED
@c011e9e That makes sense! Thanks for clarifying! I got scared there was an ED option for Umich which I overlooked since Umich was my dream school lol
The college counseling office at my school. We’re in state and have close communication with admissions officers. That is just what my school officers released, that they’re going over time to get them done and they will be released next week @lolonimous @jt1216
@amarz12 Yea they released a tweet as well! Quite sad
