Just a heads up, decisions will begin going out on Tuesday of this week. I have a sibling currently at UM who works part time in the admissions office. Good luck everyone and don’t freak out if you don’t get it on Tuesday, it takes nearly a week for all 33K decisions to be released!
Wait due to the changes in Ross acceptance, does that mean I cannot apply to get into Ross my sophomore year. Right now, I applied for Industrial Engineering in the CoE, with no preferred plan for Ross.
@forkthis do you know what order they release decisions in? hopefully at least the in state decisions will be released on tuesday!
It’ll sure be a nice Christmas present to those who are accepted
@BreadedPrincess Nice? You mean best?
@Nameless305 no michigan only receives 11,000 in state applications total (early and regular) and there are 33,000 ea apps so that means in state applicants only make up at most 1/3 of the ea apps but many of my in state friends applied regular decision. michigan receives 55,000 apps total (early and regular) and only 11,000 of those apps are in-stsate which is 20%
Haha you guys chill. Kill some time till Tuesday, play some video games, spend time with the fam and friends. Don’t stress, it’ll all work out for the best
do decisions release by school? like all the decisions from one high school are released at the same time or do people from the same high school get decisions on different times/days
they won’t, but i was wondering if they release them by school so if someone from my school gets their decision on tuesday does that mean everyone from my school also got their decision at the same time?
@Nameless305 you’re a goof! You’ll do great at UMich
@BreadedPrincess He sounds like the typical Michigan student. Snobbish, Pharisaical, and pretentious.
Does not applying for scholarship increase a chance of being accepted?
Hey everybody,
I understand everyone is stressed about the wait for this decision//what the decision will be but please do not take it out on other people participating in the thread. Many of us could become future classmates so being cordial would not only make the thread more beneficial, but also score you a few new friends at our potential future home. Best of luck to everyone.
Go Blue!
@worried1235 agreed. some people are kinda nasty on this thread
Does anyone know if preferred admission decisions come with the decision from the university itself? Or do they come at separate times?
preferred admission for ross came out in march last year @mpurd18 so admission decision came out before
So when one logs into wolverine access what should you look for under “application status”? will it say “admitted”?
It will say view decision and after u click either admit defer or deny
Hopefully we all will know around Tuesday at 4. I hope and pray that we all get in and can be Victors2021. It has been my dream for far too long (7th grade) and now it has the chance to become my possibility! We excited but scared beyond words! Ugh.
Officially the week results come out! Best of luck to everyone
