Class of 2021 can still transfer to Ross as a sophomore. It’s just that they will be considered transfer applicants instead of regular applicants. There is a thread on the uofm reddit with more info
The wolverine access is down now :((
The website states the hours of operation, so,of course it is down. Read the website!!
Stop freaking out when website is down people. It’s down for maintenance, it states it on the website. The fact that it is down has nothing to do with your decision. Take deep breath…
Still have like 36 hours left. 8 hours of sleep + bingewatching S1&2 of Mr. Robot should kill time.
Just heard from a source that the college closes on Thursday. Hopefully, they do release decisions on Tuesday! The wait is killing me.
Hi everyone, I apologize if this has already been asked, don’t mean to make anyone mad- just wondering. Is there any chance decisions would come out today? Or why is everyone so certain they’re tomorrow rather than today. Thanks
If they usually space it out over a 5 day span to make sure the portal doesn’t crash, why do we think they wouldn’t be forced to release them today. I’ve been following this thread since about page 35 and I haven’t seen any reason presented for why they’ll be coming out tmrw instead of today other than a good amount of people saying they “heard they’ll be out Tuesday at 4.” Based on what though? Did I miss something? It would make sense for them to start sending them out today if you look at how many days it usually takes to space them out. Is that not logical?
@jt1216 It is logical, but who said they need 5 days to release decisions? They could’ve done it in the past because they had the time, etc. but I’m sure they could get all out in 3 days if they wanted to. The reason for Tuesday is many people’s guidance Counselor’s received emails from UM stating it.
People don’t think it’s for certain tomorrow, just that it’s supposed to come out in the next 3 days
But why would people in the Office of Admissions be so willing to just volunteer that info when talking to counselors, while these same people then treat the release day of decisions as more secretive than the nuclear launch codes when prospective students ask. That’s the only reason I’m skeptical of that rumor. Furthermore, I believe only 2 posters used that as their proof. After that, people just ran with it. @JPGator98
They just tweeted this. They keep egging us on lol https://twitter.com/UMichAdmissions/status/810841920968790017
ha hopefully our patience will pay off!
@amarz12 No a majority of the people have been treating it as if it is a certainty. Like they were saying “36 hours until decisions are released” last night and many posts saying stuff like “Can’t wait until Tuesday.” While I agree with you that the only certainty people should be believing is that they come out in the next 3 days, there appears to be a general consensus that they’re coming out tmrw.
2 posts said tuesday, someone who goes to a private school in michigan said their guidance counselor received an email from admissions last week saying decisions will start coming out this tuesday but who knows and another post yesterday said their sister works part time in admissions and that decisions will start coming out this tuesday
Does it really matter? It’ll come out either today and tomrorow and it doesn’t matter who’s right. You can’t control anything and if it comes out it’s not like you’re going to miss it, just keep an eye out on this thread and when it’s out you’ll know. No point in arguing, it’s not going to change the date or the decision you’re going to receive.
Oh yeah I forgot about that sibling post. That is a credible reason to believe they’ll be out tmrw. (That is if that person isn’t making it up though). @Eeeee127
@JPGator98 I understand that. I was just wondering why there was such a overwhelming majority just willing to accept they’ll be out tmrw based on such little fact. I was wondering if I had missed a post or something.
the thing is they START coming out tomorrow which means not everyone will receive their decision on tuesday as they come out between tuesday and saturday so if you are lucky, you will see a decision on tuesday but no guarantee you might have to wait until saturday as they spread them out
That entire factor of spreading out the decisions is exactly why I was saying it would make sense for them to start today. Plus they’re supposed to be out BEFORE Saturday. Also, I don’t even think the school is open Friday as someone said the office closes Thursday. There last finals are Wednesday so it’s possible the university as a whole closes even sooner than that. (But idk if Admissions offices close the same day a college’s students and professors are done with school). @Eeeee127
