As for me, I will definitely be going to UMKC for this program. I sent a request to join the FB group and I have a twitter as well.

I joined the facebook group, and put my major as six year med program, but maybe we should make a facebook group just for those accepted into the six year ba md program class of 2019? I’m accepted from out of state so I don’t know anyone 
I am doing the BLA and I don’t know if I will do a minor or not. I’m kind of waiting to talk with the advisor
There is already a fb group made…I think the Class of 2018 made it for us (?). However, I sent a request and have yet to be accepted into the group…

@MedicallyAnxious: I’m not a current student…but, I doubt that major and minor choices will affect matches. I think they look more at board scores, etc. Just like with someone who goes the normal 8 year route, they don’t really bother with BA/BS degrees… but it doesn’t hurt to double check!
Oh I thought it was just for those in the general umkc medical class of 2019 since it was a closed group… I don’t know haha
Hi guys, just to answer your questions, the UMKC School of Medicine: Class of 2019 group is for you guys who have just been accepted or waitlisted. The admins will add you guys to the group once they have a verified list of people from the advisor. It won’t be too long!
