<p>I’ve been trying to log into my UC application for the past hour or so and it would appear that they’ve put a limit on the number of characters that you can enter into the password box. My password exceeds the 8 character limit and I’m unable to log in. I can’t change my password either because the “old password” box is also limited to 8 characters. </p>
<p>Any ideas or reasons as to why this is happening and suggestions as to how to fix it?</p>

I have a simple 6 word password, and it wont work.
Its not about the password its about how they crashed…</p>
<p>Well, even if it has crashed, that doesn’t explain why there’s now an 8 character limit on the passwords. I’m 100% of what my password is and so is my friend, and neither of us can actually type them in because they exceed 8 characters.</p>

edit 2: It’s back up…for now</p>
<p>So apparently they just chopped off the last couple characters of my password to make it 8 characters, because I can now log in with a shortened version of my original password…</p>
<p>They’re trying to warn us to submit now… lol</p>
