Unable to submit the Barnard deposit

D finally decided to go to Barnard and is very excited about it. I went into the admitted student website, input her application ID and that took me to a page which says “THIS PAGE IS NO LONGER IN USE”.

Anyone having the same issue? Since the deadline is Sunday, what are my options now?

Try again and then call them and e-mail them directly. Leave messages/documentation that you tried to do it within the deadline.

I have emailed admissions and Dean Fondiller, left a voice message in the answering machine at admissions, tried to email IT Help Desk.

What else should I do? Should I leave a deposit in another college?

If anyone from admissions is checking this thread, please PM me!!

Try again.

You have probably already done this, but double- check the id you used.

Run to the mail and overnight the deposit. It will get there on Monday. Save the receipt that you did it today.

The web site is working now. Try again.

Yeah. Just saw this on the Barnard admissions Face Book page:

Thank you all for your kind feedback. I was able to submit the deposit at noon today. So, now I am a proud Barnard Dad!!

Congrats … I’m sure your daughter will love Barnard … 3togo proud Dad of a Barnard second year

Congratulations!! Welcome to the Barnard family.

Proud mom of a Barnard woman completing her first year of law school and looking forward to a judicial internship.

Congrats! Proud mom of a Barnard alum who is currently working on her PhD in Neuroscience.

So sorry you had to go through the stress of this today, though. ARGH!!!

Now it’s over!! Enjoy!

Does anyone know when matriculants get more info about Barnard? I’ve committed and paid the deposit and I’m anxious for the next step!

It’s been a few years ago (6??? wow!), but as I recall you will get some info in June (about classes and also a roommate survey to fill out). You will get your roommate’s name and such much later than you want to…early August, maybe??

Hang in there and enjoy the rest of your Senior year! And hopefully someone else will provide more current info about expectations for you. :)
