UNC 2018 Transfer Student Thread

I am so nervous and anxious now haha it’s already 2:30 ish eastern time right?

Yep, it’s 2:24 right now.

We need to know what majors the people who got those emails are!!

I’m gonna guess today between 5-7 like they told Vincent.

Just as a reminder, decisions came out at around 3:15 Eastern time last year.

I am a business/finance major

@butfirstcoffee That time range is in reference to the decisions that go out on the 9th

Okay so the business school isn’t done with apps then

I don’t think that the time frame given in his email applies to us. I think that ours will probably follow what has occurred the past few years, which is from like 2 pm to 5 pm (EDT).

Wait I’m pretty sure they don’t looks at the majors for applications right?

So is theory that because @Vincent1997 is a business major or applied later, we still will get our decisions today?

He applied January I submitted the day of the deadline and I didn’t get that email lol

So nervous!! Haven’t gotten that email but I’m anxiously awaiting an update from UNC. My mom went there but had to drop out so I’m really trying to get in and make my family proud…SO NERVOUS

@Vincent1997 did anything prompt that email?

The email said his application was either still under review or incomplete. He confirmed that his application was complete though. @electrobricks

can you guys access CC? I can’t get in (really lol not kidding)

I can access it. I tried on my laptop and phone. @TheLastofUs9

Guys I’m pretty sure it has nothing to do with major or day he applied I think it’s something to do with when all of his materials may have come in it’s possible that your trenscript/LOR or something came in only a few days ago or it could be the way they distribute applications amongst the admissions officers who read them maybe someone was behind or something lol not really sure how it works

I can get in to CC

@HSstudentNC @Vincent1997 I mean to ask whether you contacted them for a decision release time or they just emailed you that “out-of-the-blue”.
