Congratulations! Did you list the political affiliation of the political internships (ie Democrats or Republicans)? My daughter will be applying to UNC next year and has interned for a Congressman and we are not sure whether listing Republican/Democrat will be held against her!
Correct - that does not mean you are accepting
Hello! Does anyone know anything about the Carolina Innovation Scholars program/would anyone be interested in explaining it to me? I had originally read through all of the scholarship landing pages, but I can’t find more information about this particular one.

Hi - in addition to the email stating that results are now available, are any other emails sent to accepted students before you have logged in? DD is on hike with school for a week without phone and gave me access to her email but not her portal. Trying to figure out results without seeing the actual letter.
I don’t know much about it but my daughter received it, notified along with her acceptance letter. Does anyone have info about the program?
Same in our house, D is in-state UNC though, high stat with great EC. We have UofM alumni connection. We also have friends in Ann Arbor, both on faculty at Michigan who’s D accepted OOS at UNC but deferred at Michigan. The consensus
is they just deferred a huge majority this time around
for me, i listed the political affiliation, because the more specific you are is better. colleges shouldn’t hold that against applicants because they’re looking for a diverse student population, and listing the political affiliation will only help.
UNC Financial Aid Notification email on Jan 28. Do not know whether they sent to only accepted students.
Do you think it would be sent if you did not apply for Financial Aid?
Is anyone familiar with the Global Launch program? Son accepted to study abroad in Scotland in the fall and begin UNC in the spring. OOS business major
I think the school sends out additional information only after the decision link has been opened. Hang in there!
Is anyone else here accepted to the global launch program in Spain?
Exact same here but with Spain! I believe you just knock out your gen Ed’s/language requirement then return to UNC in spring
Is anyone accepted to Global Launch Ireland?

I also got in for Ireland!
