i was an alternate finalist last year before i got my decision and i got in. good luck!
Soā¦ one more hour to go IF today is the day. LOL
People are using past history as a guide that it could be today, tomorrow, or Friday, with Friday being the most likely.
hoping today is the day! idk if i can wait till friday haha
UNC freshman hereā¦ has anyone noticed any changes/glitches in the portal. I remember it happening a lot last year the day decisions were released.
make sure you put notifications on for UNCAdmissions Twitter account. Thatās the only public place they announced the release last year (3:48ET)
Nothing. Most likely will be Friday
30 minutes or Friday. Good luck whatever it may be.
That makes a lot more sense!
A friend just called the admission office, and was told decisions are NOT coming out today
I believe this is the longest decision period of any school that Iāve seen. EA deadline was 10/15 and itās ~3 1/2 months for them to provide a decision. Most of the RD decisions are within 3 months of the deadline. Notre Dame EA was a little over 6 weeks. UNCCH either more thorough or less efficient than other schools (or maybe a little of both).
I would assume they come out friday at 3:30 or 4!
Thatās what it looks like
Agree. Also the Morehead Cain nomination brings in a lot of OOS students for whom UNC wouldnāt even be on the radar. I think itās a great marketing tool for them to bring in really high stats kids who fill multiple buckets per the criteria. Even if only a handful get the scholarship, at least some will end up at UNC due to the early process. Many of these OOS kids whose school can only recommend two kids, are going to be at the top of many college pools. So Iād guess the low yield OOS number isnāt a surprise.
Have wondered how many of the Morehead-Cain nominated students they take v. others.
Yeah I guess today just isnāt the day, I really wanted to know
Is the January 31 date listed on the website the day decisions are released? Or is it by January 31?
āBy January 31.ā
Did anyone hear from NCSU about decisions?
Not yet. but withdraw button is gone for whatever that means!
Portal changed. Now shows Application Management with one application 2022 FYR EA status submitted. If you open that link you get the old screen. Somethingās in the works
