How is the Joint BME program? My daughter would like to eventually try for medical school. I have heard that GPA is a main component of med school applications.

Is it tough to maintain a high GPA in BME?

My family member maintained a very high gpa in this major, but the major isn’t easy.

The program is not easy. If the goal is medical school then I would consider something easier. My daughter’s friend just changed over.

Is she a junior is HS or accepted and trying to make final decisions?

If she is genuinely interested in BME, go for it, but if med school is the goal there may be less stressful pathways that give her time to explore options and take on other research projects.
