@bailey7cw Very sorry about that decision…my OOS D is at a hockey match right now so she hasn’t checked her decision yet but she will likely have the same results…if you had been IS, they would have built a monument to you but OOS (and a girl…which they don’t need more of) is really really tough.
That said, they deny many people and the “defer” actually means something so you still have a shot.

Denied In State with a 2150 SAT score, 720 Physics score, and 730 MA2 score. I thought I had a shot because my brother is attending and I’m from one of the smallest counties in the state. But I guess the fact that I was home schooled (without taking community college classes) held me back. Ah well.
