hopefully we get one tonight!!
@CJC27 Where are you from? I didn’t think getting into Clemson was that hard, I randomly applied and got in. How many AP classes have you taken? Any EC?
I had the same concern @aban91 but at the end of the day I made peace with the fact that I could transfer in after my first year so
Them not giving us a date makes it so much worse, if they would of just said that its coming out March 31 it would of been so much better. I wouldn’t of had to constantly check and hope it comes out.
@CJC27 Admission to Clemson was tough this year, and a lot of qualified kids that I was friends with didn’t get in even though their scores and GPA were in range. However, unless you’re in state for UNC, it’s going to be tougher to get accepted. Good luck!

I’m from MA. One AP last year to get my feet wet and all dual enrollment classes this year. Took all classes at local college instead of going to my high school every day. I didn’t think getting in was hard either!
At this rate, maybe we should just expect the decision to come out March 31st. There’s no point in constantly waiting if they won’t give us a date.
@CJC27 That’s surprising. I’ve taken 4 AP’s and 5 Dual Enrollment classes. I’m pretty sure that my EC probably got me in. I’m pretty sure that’s the case for every college I’ve applied to.
What other colleges have you applied to?
@KjPineda wat colleges have u been accepted into? and wat’s your SAT/ACT
Wait do they do rolling admissions like Michigan? I checked out Twitter and it seems like someone has already been accepted…
@NICE8x I think those are people who got in EA and are just now confirming their offers and tweeting about them because I saw a UNC tweet sometime earlier that said all RD will hear at the same time
Does anyone know how UNC views a student that has done a lot of research in the STEM fields?
kind of ridiculous that they haven’t released decisions yet and that they haven’t even tweeted anything about it besides “by april 1”
The wait is so hard. I can’t sleep, and I even cried over this. Ugh. I wish they would just tell anyone who they were certain of, and tell others a little later.
How does UNC determine IS vs OOS? I spent freshman - junior years in Hawaii and then moved to Fort Bragg for my senior year. Is it based upon IS tuition eligibility or some other method?
@Spriggster I’m pretty sure that it’s based on your residency in the state. How long have you lived here?
Here’s a link that I think should explain things @Spriggster http://registrar.unc.edu/academic-services/residency/
At this point UNC is releasing very close to, if not on, IVY day which is very unusual. Most schools like to release before IVY day.
