I'm an econ major and I applied to UNC @ chapel hill and UVA. I'm a junior transfer, and i got accepted at UNC. I'm from Virginia. Where should I attend? I get the cheaper costs at UVA b/c i'm instate, but I like the sports at UNC. Anyone?

UVA for sure

UNC for sure

why dont you wait for uva’s decision first? if you got rejected, u don even need to make the choice.

btw, I am applying to these two schools, too. econ major. junior transfer. got admitted to unc.

i just wanted to get some people’s opinions beforehand. I want to know which one is better, but I think they are both equally good.

if i remember UVA is ranked above UNC by usnews, if it matters to you. i’d say go with the in-state tuition…you’re getting a great education either way.

I think UVa’s econ program is pretty well known and I would choose that, but that’s not to say UNC’s is too shabby.

hmmm yeah UVA is pretty much the school for me. What’s the out of state rate for UNC? is it around 30k a year. 15k a semester or sumtin. (tution + expenses)

^^^^^^^^^
Why did you ask the question if you already had the answer?

UVA is number for Business school. VT is ranked number four for business I think too.

UVA is generally more reputable.

Meant to say UVA is listed as the #1 business school

think financially

did u get the decision of UVA? i applied UVA too. but havent got the decision yet…>.<

UVA doesn’t release decisions until May 1st.

Go to UNC so that way I’ll get a spot at UVA =)
