UNC v. Emory: Premed edition

<p>So...I've narrowed my choices down to two options: UNC (instate) or Emory.</p>

<p>At Emory I was an Emory Scholar Semi-finalist and got a 12k/year scholarship. At UNC I'm paying instate tuition.</p>

<p>I want to do premed and go to a top medical school or a top MD/PhD program after graduation. I am interested in neuroscience or psychology as a major.</p>

<p>Which has better opportunities as far as research and as far as premed...or are they both pretty much the same? And if you think one is better than the other, then for what reasons, and if you think Emory is the better option, is it still worth an extra 15-20k a year?</p>

<p>wow i am in the exact same position as you! but personally, i am leaning more towards emory. but i am also question the pre-med programs at both schools.</p>
