UNC vs Carleton vs Bowdoin

I am aware that every one of them is different and I love the three that is why I need help deciding between them:

UNC Chapel Hill(OOS) - Biostatistics
CArleton College- Bio/Chem
Bowdoin College- Bio/chem.

I want to go to med school after, which would you choose out of the three and why.

Please, I need your opinions.

It's your party. Carleton is excellent.

They are all excellent that is why it is so hard to decide and that is why I want to see the reasons other people would choose one over the other.

You'll get a great education at all of them, but each one varies in "student atmosphere". Have you visited?

I will visit thre three on the upcoming weeks.

If you like big-time college sports clearly UNC. Big time social life--UNC. Prefer smaller intimate environment in a quiet small town--the other two.

If you don't mind the smaller environment, Carleton is absolutely excellent in the sciences, and their pre-med programs are strong as well.

I'd pick Bowdoin. Why be in Minnesota when you could be in Maine??? It trumps Carleton with excellent food. Housing is also great, and I liked the outdoors activities. :)

Im thinking Bowdoin, but I will miss the Big Sports Scene, parties and great town of UNC. But I think that a LAC will be better for me because of the personal attention, preparation and nicer feel of a close knit community. I could always go to a similar school like UNC for med anyways I am thinking, like Vanderbilt.

Warbler, lets be fair here. Have you ever been to MN? Eaten Carleton food? Do you honestly think Carleton is short on outdoor activities when it has its own 900 acre arboretum? Just being devil's advocate (and a Carleton alum who wouldn't trade those four years for anything).
