UNC/Wake Forest Transfer Fall 2019

Could transfers please help give me a ballpark idea of my chances of getting into UNC Chapel Hill or Wake Forest?

-OOS (Florida- currently a freshman at UF)
-Honors Program, pre-med, currently taking 17 credit hours and 18 next semester
-Strength of schedule: Chem 1 and lab, Calc 1, Government, Personality Psychology, Introduction to Medical Professions
-Strength of Semester 2 schedule: Chem 2 and lab, Stats 1, Anatomy and Physiology, 2 honors classes, and dance (so not the strongest, but I’m trying to change that)
-GPA (this is where it gets rough): somewhere between a 3.84-3.9, depending on chem/calc finals next week)
-Extracurriculars: ballet company on campus, next semester I will do the ACE certification for personal training (a not-for-credit 3 credit hour course)
-My high school stats were good:
-5.62 W GPA, 3.94 UW
-IB Program (HL bio, HL English, HL art, SL Spanish, SL math, and SL psych) and I passed all IB exams with a 5 or 6 out of 7
-7 APs, passed all with 4s and 5s
-200+ hours of volunteer work, some officer positions in minor clubs, and 14 year commitment to dance
-Lots of art awards

I’m really just worried about a rec letter and my college gpa- UNC said they’d take one from a high school teacher who knows me well, but I don’t know if that’s a “yeah we’ll take it” or a “yeah, but you really should find a college professor to write you one”

If anyone has any insight or advice I would really appreciate it! And for reference I got into Wake but turned it down for a scholarship to UF, and I got waitlisted-rejected from Carolina. Really regretting turning down Wake, but it appears they saw more than usual enrollment so I know it will likely be more selective this fall.

Thank you so much in advance

I did read recently that Wake was not accepting any transfers for Spring semester because they are at capacity. I understand that doesn’t mean ‘none’ for fall, but I was surprised that they wouldn’t even take a few top candidates in spring. Perhaps another commenter can add some insight into Fall. By the way - it seems like you’re a really strong and well rounded candidate!
