I was recently accepted as a junior transfer to UNC. The place from which I would be transferring is Emory University.

If I were to stay at Emory, I would enroll in the Goizueta business school here in Fall 2009, and complete my degree on time in Spring 2011.

If I were to transfer to UNC, I would need to spend at least one semester in the college and apply to Kenan-Flagler for Spring 2010, thus, I would be a semester behind.

Note: I would get in-state tution at UNC and already have a few friends at UNC.

dude you haven’t given any real reasons for why you want to transfer. Do you hate it at Emory? Transferring is tough, and a much bigger deal than you might think, unless you have a very solid reason like finances then I would think twice. Emory is a great school, I’d consider staying.

HAHA DANG this is just like me. I go to notre dame, and sophomore year i would be enrolled at the mendoza college of business and be eligible for a great business education (very few requirements left, so lots of upper level electives available)

i’m considering transferring though (i got in)… it’s 20k cheaper and i don’t love it at ND. hm. well whatever you decide, gl. we should talk

About this time last year, I chose Carolina out of the three schools I was admitted to that I was seriously considering, which were, ironically enough UNC (duh), Emory, and Notre Dame…weird.

decide whats important to you. ND, UNC, emory are all amazing schools academically (some obviously have better specific programs - ive heard ND’s biz is near top, so is kenan). are you happy/quality of social life? making huge generalizations, i’d say UNC has the strongest social life (especially with ND’s…poor… football lately… haha jk) Cost very important??
i’d say map out the top handful of factors of importance to you. write what you know/think of each school in that area. helps you organize thoughts.
