Hello!
So I will be auditioning this weekend at UNCSA on the 18th. I just want to be fully prepared for what type of audition this will be. If anyone has any UNCSA audition experiences to share I would love to hear them. Just curious about how the day goes, how strict they are on the 6-minute total limit, what the interview is like etc! Thanks!
Check out this thread from around post 242 and on. Further down is info about the timing of monologues.

BAL and have fun. I think my daughter is helping out one of the days this weekend.
@emmfty My D auditioned there on January 14th and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming. They will have students there helping out and they will talk with you while you are waiting so you can ask any questions you have. Stay as close to the 6 minutes as possible and just be yourself! BAL!
Best of luck to all of you. My D is currently a sophomore at UNCSA, and she loves the program and the training. I have met a number of her classmates, who are an open-hearted, generous, non-pretentious bunch. One thing we learned from this process is that you will find the school that is right for you. I know everyone keeps saying that, but it is really true. My D was not accepted to some programs that are less prestigious than UNCSA. But, when we arrived at the UNCSA auditions, it was completely clear to both of us, immediately, that this was the right program for her. There is a fit that happens, or doesn’t happen. I would encourage you to trust the process. Be prepared, do your best, but trust that you will find the right program, and the right program will find you.
