One year it’s #6, and the next it’s #18 and also listed as being in Chapel Hill rather than the true Winston-Salem? Can someone explain this/the criteria it’s based off of/whether it’s truly a cause for concern over the drama school?
These “best of” lists are subjective and not based on any specific criteria. They’re okay as a starting point, to see some schools that are well-known, but definitely do NOT stress over them or use them as a decision-making tool. They’re often full of mistakes, too (like saying UNSCA is in Chapel Hill.)
And they put UNCSA alum under other schools. I think they corrected some of this - but still. Doesn’t give much hope that the list has any meaning when it is full of mistakes.
They used to get info from casting agents and sources In the industry to help rank schools. This year it seems to have been put together by journalism students (at northwestern – hmmm).
