Undeclared major for Tranfers: Do or Don't?

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to know what y'all thought of leaving your major as undeclared when applying as a transfer student who is also a second degree candidate. Is it a don't? Could it impact chances?

Personally, I'm hesitating between finishing a major I previously dropped after failing two classes and something I have no background in. Which do you recommend I apply as:

a) dropped major
b) new major
c) undeclared

A little explaining of your opinion is greatly appreciated.

bump please

i would just choose a major for your application. you can always change it, you have nothing to lose. as someone who has at least around 90 credits, it doesn’t look good on a college application to be still undecided. colleges want students who will finish there degree and are focused (more money for the colleges), they don’t want someone, who on paper, looks like they might have a greater chance of dropping out.
