Quite a few EC's

Accepted In-State

3.9 Umich GPA, 6 AP classes
32 ACT 12WR / 1960 SAT
Lots of ECs

Should I pay the enrollment deposit right now? Does that mean I commit to umich, or just that they hold my place for me?

My application was complete 9/19 and my online status page hasn't been updated...

What were your stats? Maybe they haven't gotten something (call)? They may just be holding out on a decision for you.

3.7 Michigan GPA
M: 650, CR: 650, W: 620
Strong EC's, Essays, Recommendations
Completed 9/19
Double Legacy (both parents)

I realize that my stats aren't the greatest, but I do have double parent legacy and I think that should help.

if we didn't find out today does that probably mean we didn't get accepted?

No, no no no.

It probably just means your application wasn't complete for awhile, or they just haven't gotten to it yet.

Relax. They probably only admitted a small percentage of what they normally admit.

Just check WA every day, because their decisions are probably going to be more frequent than every Friday.

ACCEPTED OUT OF STATE
(new jersey)

2030 SAT (800 writing, 680 verbal, 550 math)
31 ACT
3.6ish UM GPA (just calculated my mich gpa for the first time...was too scared to know :p)
Native American/White
Triple Legacy
Okay ECs, fabulous essay/short answers
App complete 9/5

Oh dear, is it fishy to anyone else that decisions came out ON election day? I really don't want to go thru college feeling like I was only accepted because of extreme affirmative action =(

...but I should just shut up and be happy I got in =)

Could people also post the date their admissions packet was complete? Thanks :)

ACCEPTED!!!!!!!
OOS
Application complete 9/19
SAT CR 750 M 690
UW GPA 3.8
Online this morning

Never think that affirmative action is the REASON you got in. I think it doesn't have as much of a pronounced effect as people think it does.

Besides, you will probably be way cooler to hang out with anyways.

Proposal 2 will loose badly anyways.

has anyone gotten in engineering or ross pre-admit yet? two of my friends who applied just LSA already got in but they applied later me (i did ross pre-admit) and another friend who applied engineering and for sure has the best stats of any of the people i mentioned. i'm just wondering if maybe those applications are still being reviewed since they go through the LSA people and THEN the respective schools/departments.

Accepted: In state

ROSS Pre-Admits start RD starting December. You will get your LSA decision earlier of course though. After you get into LSA, ROSS starts making decisions in December
