Undergrad b-schools that get you good jobs and grad school placement?

You might want to look up Delaware Valley.

The OP can correct me, but based on his post I wasn’t guessing he was looking for good job placement in the Delaware Valley.

And while I lived in NY for three decades, I’m a Californian. I would have loved to have spent my whole career here, but like many graduating from B schools, I went where the best jobs in my field were.

those job opportunities in delaware are a HUGE factor in my consideration of delaware’s business school. Delaware has state laws that make it very easy to incorporate so businesses flock there. I am definitely looking toward delaware. U of Delawares reputation has also been growing in recent years.

also, what do you guys think of Miami of ohio?

Business week ranked them nuber 18 in their latest rankings and while employers obviously don’t look at rankings, businessweek did give them an A in the job placement category, they only recieved a B in the facilities category, but they just built a whole new building for the b school inaugurated this year, i am sure that will increase their rankign even further in the future.

WHat do you guys think?

The Delaware Valley is in PA.

Businesses may flock to incorporate in DE, but most that do are not located there.

haha well now i look stupid. My bad. lol

i know for a fact that many business are located there. My friend has a sister there and she had multiple offers for internships following her FRESHMAN year at sevral major credit card and insurance companies located in delaware.

Delaware has some businesses located there, but is not known as a hotbed of corporate HQs. Suburban Philadelphia is, however. Dallas/Ft Worth has many corporate HQs and many companies are leaving CA for Nashville and other parts of TN due to favorable tax treatment. Same with Nevada (good tax treatment).
Fewer business grads are coveting NY these days, largely due to the current economy but also the ridiculous cost of living. Plenty do opt for NY, of course, but Atlanta and other places where you can actually afford to live have a lot of appeal.

Seattle!!!

Reviving a REALLY OLD post, ik…

just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this:
Can a VSB (Villanova school of business) undergrad get a spot at Wharton MBA… or is it practically impossible because all the Wharton MBA spots are taken by feeder schools- Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Northwestern, Duke, Columbia, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth… etc.?
Any idea if a Boston College Carroll School of Mgmt undergrad has a better shot at Wharton MBA than a VSB Undergrad? – Does school prestige have a lot to do with acceptance? VSB ranks #7 in best undergrad business programs, I think BC is around 16.
