ok well, I'm a senior in high school right now. And a few weeks ago, I applied to a bunch of csu's locally. (like csu san francisco, csu stanislaus, csu san jose, and csu sacramento) I applied to these schools because I chose my path into being a "nurse."
So days passed by and I begin to change my mind... I want to become a pharamcist. I've heard that its worth being a pharmacist...with the high pay and stuff.

so really my trouble is, should I first finish my 2 years of GED of nursing in a csu thennn transfer to a Pharmacy school? do universites look at the first 2 years of undergrad and see if you qualify? Do I just take the first semester of college, then try switching to a uc? I'm really lost.. I really don't know what to do.. I dont want to choose the wrong path into becoming a pharmacist...please help me.. thanks.

Look up a pharmacy school online and see what courses are required the first two years and make sure you take those. Once you are in college, tell your advisor what you plan to do and they will help you design a course schedule.

I’m having almost exactly the same problem, haha. I wanted to be a nurse, but now I’m really leaning towards a physics major. The school I had picked out for nursing (Ohio State) is not where I want to be as an undergraduate physics major. Luckily the school I would rather be at for undergrad physics also has my application.

If none of the schools you’ve applied to have pharmacy, I would look into the requirements of schools that do. I personally would transfer after the first semester, it’s just easier in my eyes haha, but you could probably wait. You still have time, can you apply to a school for freshman admission to a pharmacy program?

yea really, I think I just made a huge mistake. I dont know if I could just transfer to another school after the 1st semester of that csu school… And to apply to a school for freshman admission? well, the deadline for sending applications was by nov 30… and the nearest pharmacy program is the University of Pacific, CA. Should I just apply next year…?
