"Undergrad facilities need improvement?"

That's what Business Week's Top 50 chart says about Kelley. Everything else seems to be top notch.

Any comments on this?

The budget had already been increased to allow for infrastructure improvements to the Kelley school, and the work was to start this summer from what I understand. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the link to this news article from the university, though.

(It would be kind of crazy for the university not to perform these improvements, since the Kelley school is one of their "highlights" that attracts students--and as you point out, they took a lot of criticism from graduating students last year).

My understanding is that most of the problems related to some ceiling tiles being damaged as a result of "dry rot" and needing replacement in many of the classrooms. Also, some of the audio-visual stuff was getting old and needed replacement as well.

Ahhhh OK.. thanks for the info... I'm going to be applying for Fall 2008 I hope they have new stuff by then.

They do have a top notch network/computer-infrastructure.. it would be a shame for them to keep it that way.

Let me know if you find anything I'd appreciate a link. Thanks.

The Kelley classrooms i've been into are not in good shape. The graduate school, the one's you see the pictures of and will likely be taken to on your tour, is new and nice. The undergraduate facilities need updating, and while the buildings aren't horrible, they don't reflect what a top undergraduate business school's building should be.
