Undergrad Finance (Wharton vs Harvard)

Hey I am an international student wanting to pursue a career in investment banking and finance and wanted to know which is better Harvard or Wharton . Also do you have any tips on how to stand out thanks.

Harvard does not offer finance for undergrads.

Consider NYU, UPenn-Wharton, MIT, and Michigan as all of these schools are strong in finance for undergraduate students.

It seems from your other threads you are in 10th grade. While I applaud the fact that you are looking ahead, you are also a long way from knowing how competitive your application will be. There is a huge amount of competition for a handful of places at the top US colleges for Indian applicants - to stand out, as you enquire after, you will literally need to be among the best students in the country. Example: there are currently 21 students from India at Harvard College (that would be across all 4 years of undergrad).

  1. You are a 10th grade Indian international student. It is too early to consider specific colleges. And these top colleges are a major reach for even the top students in your country.
  2. Please do basic research (ex. reading the school website) before posting questions here. Harvard does not have an undergraduate business school (so no finance major).
